South Africa wakes up to a new dawn with the establishment of EXCEL LEARNING – AFRICA, envisioned on becoming the largest black publishing group in Africa. Its mandate is simple: Identify challenges facing South Africa and Africa, identify African scholars to author solutions to these challenges and publish these in textbook form and electronic media and offer it to the education community at a fraction of the current cost. Students can save upwards of 40% in textbook costs.

The success of this vision is underpinned by leading Indian Academic Scholars from leading institutions in India including IIM's. IIT's, IGNOU, Delhi University. etc, who have offered their textbooks to be co-authored with African Scholars for the sale of these text books in the entire Africa continent. This partnership was made possible by two visionaries, Anurag Jain, CEO and founder of Excel Books (India) and Pravin Maharaj CEO of SAIPETD Holdings (South Africa).
