Sharma, Excel Books has evolved over the past 16 years to become one of the foremost publishers in Academic textbooks, multimedia solutions and Self Learning Material (SLM’s) to universities across India. Excel Books India has published around 1000 books and has developed over 1000 different SLM's since its inception. Some 40 Universities and large institutions have commissioned Excel Books to customize various solutions for them. As part of its globalization strategy, Excel Books has commenced its foot print in the USA, Africa and the West, for example textbooks published by Excel Books are now published by the University of Northern Virginia (USA) after adaptation by its faculty for their students.
